Success Enablers™ and the Psychology of Inclusion - This engaging and thought-provoking session explores the psychology of inclusion and introduces the Success Enablers™ Framework, a practical model developed by Jeanette Delahunty to help organisations create environments where diverse minds can thrive.

Designing Workplaces Where People Can Thrive

Many organisations invest significant time and resources into recruitment, yet continue to struggle with employee engagement, retention, wellbeing, and inclusion. Often, the challenge is not a lack of talent or capability. It is the environment in which people are expected to work.

This engaging and thought-provoking session explores the psychology of inclusion and introduces the Success Enablers™ Framework, a practical model developed by Jeanette Delahunty to help organisations create environments where diverse minds can thrive.

Combining psychological research, lived experience, and real-world workplace application, this session moves beyond awareness and focuses on the conditions that enable people to perform at their best.

Participants will explore how workplace environments influence cognitive load, psychological safety, belonging, motivation, and performance, while gaining practical strategies to embed inclusive practices into everyday leadership and organisational culture.

The session also examines the increasing importance of accessibility and inclusion within the context of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and what this means for organisations preparing for the future of work.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

Explain the psychological factors that influence inclusion, belonging, and workplace performance.

Understand how workplace environments impact cognitive load, engagement, wellbeing, and retention.

Identify the four pillars of the Success Enablers™ Framework: Structure, Predictability, Flexibility, and Feedback.

Recognise common workplace barriers that may unintentionally exclude or disadvantage employees.

Adult Neurodivergence Screening and Formulation Service - Our Adult Neurodivergence Screening and Formulation Service is designed to help you explore these experiences in a supportive, neuro-affirmative environment.

Gain Greater Understanding of Your Neurodivergent Profile

Have you ever wondered whether autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, anxiety, burnout, or other neurodivergent experiences might explain some of the challenges you have faced throughout your life?

Many adults reach a point where they begin to question why certain aspects of life feel more difficult than they seem to for others. They may have spent years masking, pushing through overwhelm, struggling with organisation, feeling different from their peers, or experiencing recurring periods of burnout.

Our Adult Neurodivergence Screening and Formulation Service is designed to help you explore these experiences in a supportive, neuro-affirmative environment.

While this service does not provide a formal diagnosis, it offers a comprehensive exploration of your experiences and can help you make an informed decision about whether pursuing a formal assessment would be beneficial.

More Than a Questionnaire

Many screening services rely solely on questionnaires and checklists. While these tools can provide valuable information, they only tell part of the story.

At Inclusive Mind, we combine evidence-based screening tools with therapeutic conversations and clinical formulation over approximately 6–7 sessions.

This allows us to understand not only your screening results, but also your lived experiences, strengths, challenges, coping strategies, and the environments in which you function best.

Together, we explore:

Attention, concentration, and executive functioning

Social communication and relationships

Sensory processing differences

Emotional regulation

Anxiety and low mood

Masking and camouflaging behaviours

Neurodivergent burnout

Work, education, and life experiences

Personal strengths, interests, and protective factors

Environmental factors that support or hinder wellbeing

Screening Measures

Depending on your individual presentation and areas of concern, screening tools may include:

Neurodivergence Screening

Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ)

Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS)

Sensory Processing Screening

Neurodivergent Burnout Screening

Masking and Camouflaging Screening

Wellbeing Screening

Generalised Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7)

Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9)

Mood Disorder Questionnaire (MDQ)

Additional screening measures may be used where clinically appropriate.

What Does the Process Involve?

Session 1 – Initial Consultation

We begin by exploring your current concerns, personal history, goals, and reasons for seeking support.

Sessions 2–5 – Screening and Exploration

Validated screening tools are completed and discussed alongside therapeutic conversations that explore your lived experiences, challenges, strengths, and patterns across different areas of life.

Session 6 – Clinical Formulation

Information gathered throughout the process is reviewed and integrated into a comprehensive neurodivergence formulation.

Session 7 – Feedback and Recommendations

We meet to discuss the findings, answer any questions, and explore recommendations and potential next steps.

Comprehensive Written Report

At the end of the process, you will receive a detailed written report that includes:

Summary of presenting concerns

Screening outcomes

Exploration of lived experiences

Strengths profile

Sensory and regulation profile

Masking and burnout considerations

Environmental factors affecting wellbeing

Clinical formulation

Recommendations for support and accommodations

Guidance regarding whether formal assessment may be beneficial

Many clients find that the report provides clarity, validation, and a better understanding of themselves, regardless of whether they decide to pursue a formal diagnostic assessment.

Our Neuro-Affirmative Approach

At Inclusive Mind, we recognise neurodiversity as a natural part of human variation.

Our focus is not on identifying deficits or labels, but on understanding how you experience the world, recognising your strengths, and identifying the supports that help you thrive.

You are more than a score on a questionnaire. By combining evidence-based screening with meaningful therapeutic exploration, we aim to provide a deeper understanding of your unique experiences and support needs.

Assessment of Need (AON) - Structured assessments that identify support needs, strengths, and recommended educational and therapeutic pathways.  All assessments include a full written report and feedback session.

Understanding Needs. Supporting Success.

At Inclusive Mind Therapy Services, we recognise that not all children who struggle in school require a diagnosis. Often, families and schools simply need a clearer understanding of a child's strengths, support needs, and overall wellbeing in order to provide the right support at the right time.

Our Educational & Wellbeing Needs Assessment is a strengths-based, neuro-affirmative assessment designed to help families better understand how a child experiences learning, school, relationships, emotional wellbeing, and everyday demands.

The assessment focuses on identifying what is working well, what may be creating barriers, and what practical supports may help a child participate, engage, and thrive both in school and beyond.

This service is suitable for school-aged children and young people experiencing challenges such as:

Anxiety related to school

Emotional regulation difficulties

Sensory differences

Attention, organisation, or executive functioning difficulties

School avoidance or school-related distress

Social challenges

Difficulties coping with change or transitions

Concerns regarding possible neurodivergence

Unexplained struggles despite apparent strengths

Difficulties accessing learning or participating fully in school life

A Needs-Led Approach

Rather than focusing solely on labels or diagnoses, this assessment explores the child as a whole person.

We consider:

Developmental and educational history

Learning preferences

Emotional wellbeing

Regulation and coping strategies

Sensory needs

Social experiences

Strengths and interests

Environmental factors that may support or hinder participation

The goal is to create a clear picture of how the child experiences school and everyday life so that meaningful supports can be identified.

What the Assessment Includes

Depending on the level of assessment selected, the process may include:

Parent consultation

Child consultation sessions

Developmental and educational history review

Wellbeing and needs-based questionnaires

Review of relevant reports

Integrated formulation

Practical recommendations

Written report

School liaison and consultation (where applicable)

The number of child sessions required will vary depending on the child's age, communication style, and individual needs. Most assessments involve between one and three child sessions, which are included within the assessment fee.

How This Assessment Can Help

This assessment can help:

Families understand their child's strengths and needs more clearly

Schools better understand how a child experiences learning and school life

Identify practical supports that may improve participation and wellbeing

Inform discussions with schools and support services

Support planning while awaiting statutory services or other assessments

Guide decisions about whether further assessment may be beneficial

Is This the Right Assessment for My Child?

This service may be particularly helpful if you:

Want a clearer understanding of your child's needs

Are concerned about school engagement or wellbeing

Are awaiting statutory services

Want practical recommendations for home and school

Feel your child is struggling but are unsure why

Want support planning without immediately pursuing diagnosis

If you are specifically seeking:

A full psycho-educational assessment

Cognitive (IQ) testing

Standardised academic testing

you may wish to seek support from an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or other appropriately qualified professional.

Not Sure Which Service You Need?

Many families first access our Neurodivergent Pre-Screening Service to help determine whether further assessment may be helpful.

The Educational & Wellbeing Needs Assessment focuses on a different question:

"What does this child need right now to participate, learn, and thrive?"

If you are unsure whether this assessment is the right fit for your child, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your child's needs before booking.

NB: This assessment is non-diagnostic. Any reference to recognised neurodevelopmental profiles is descriptive and intended to support understanding and signposting only. The assessment focuses on identifying strengths, needs, and practical supports rather than providing diagnosis.

Walk & Talk Therapy - A movement-based therapeutic option offering a grounding, sensory-friendly alternative to traditional office sessions.  Walk & Talk sessions are available within a 30-minute radius of Clane and are ideal for clients who benefit from nature, movement, and a less formal setting.

Therapy Beyond the Four Walls

For some people, sitting in a therapy room can feel restrictive, uncomfortable, or simply not the best environment for meaningful conversation. Walk and Talk Therapy offers an alternative approach, combining the benefits of psychotherapy with gentle movement and time spent in nature.

Sessions take place outdoors in a safe and agreed location, allowing you to engage in therapy while walking at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to maintain eye contact, sit still, or engage in a traditional counselling setting. Instead, the focus is on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where conversation can flow more naturally.

Walk and Talk Therapy is available for adults and young people and can be particularly beneficial for neurodivergent individuals, those experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, life transitions, or anyone who feels more comfortable talking while moving.

Benefits of Walk and Talk Therapy

A More Relaxed Therapeutic Environment

Many people find it easier to open up when walking side-by-side rather than sitting face-to-face. The informal nature of walking can reduce feelings of pressure and help conversations develop more naturally.

Supports Emotional Regulation

Movement can help regulate the nervous system, reduce physical tension, and create a sense of calm. Walking can be particularly helpful when discussing difficult emotions or experiences.

Connection with Nature

Research consistently shows that spending time outdoors can support mental wellbeing, reduce stress, improve mood, and increase feelings of connectedness and perspective.

Encourages Reflection and Problem Solving

The rhythm of walking often supports clearer thinking, creativity, and reflection. Many clients report finding it easier to process thoughts, explore challenges, and consider solutions while moving.

Neurodivergent-Friendly Approach

For many neurodivergent individuals, traditional therapy settings can feel overwhelming or uncomfortable. Walk and Talk Therapy offers an alternative that may reduce sensory demands, lessen social pressure, and support more authentic communication.

Promotes Overall Wellbeing

The combination of therapeutic support, fresh air, gentle exercise, and connection with nature can contribute positively to both mental and physical wellbeing.

What to Expect

Sessions typically last 60 minutes and take place in a suitable outdoor location agreed in advance. The pace of the walk is tailored to your comfort and mobility needs, and there is always the option to pause, sit, or adapt the session as needed.

As with all therapy services at Inclusive Mind, Walk and Talk Therapy is delivered using a neuro-affirmative, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach. Sessions are tailored to your individual goals, strengths, and support needs.

Is Walk and Talk Therapy Right for You?

Walk and Talk Therapy may be a good fit if you:

Find traditional therapy settings uncomfortable

Think more clearly when moving

Enjoy being outdoors

Experience stress, anxiety, burnout, or overwhelm

Are neurodivergent and prefer a less formal environment

Want a flexible and person-centred approach to therapy
